Category 70 Australasian Dentist D.T Angelo Di Franco was born in Italy and qualified as a Dental Technician in 1988, and retrained in Australia in 1998. During this time he has worked for many leading companies in the Italian dental profession demonstrating new products and techniques and at times traveling the world to share his knowledge. In 2017 he decided to move to Brisbane , Australia where he had already worked 20 years prior as a Dental Technician in a well known Dental Laboratory. His main areas of interest are removable prosthetics, mainly the Toronto Bridge also known as All on 4, 5, 6. etc, and in the application of acrylic/ composite materials. He has carried out numerous training courses to feed his knowledge in the dental technical field and also organizes courses for the processing of carbon fibre and glass fibre (Metal Free). Among these are, courses in Cad-Cam, laser printer, new techniques in printed ceramics using the Vertysystem technique, metallurgy, implantology and attachments, monolithic composite method and removable prosthesis. Angelo also demonstrator for 3 DELTA DENTAL supplies in Australia, for the new generation dental products like carbon fibre, fibre Glass, etc. FIgure 28 FIgure 31 FIgure 34 FIgure 29 FIgure 32 FIgure 30 FIgure 33 difficulties in delivering our final deal! If not, maybe we have constructed a remarkable device, perfect in function and working and approved by both clinician and patient, but we will not be able to satisfy our professional competence and dignity as a prosthetist or technician. In conclusion, I hope my contribution is useful in creating a stimulus in searching more than a simple technical step when performing dental technology; be curious of information and studies of extra components, just as fundamental for the development and management of a healthy prosthodontics company.
