Zipbond Universal welcomes the variability in tooth structure and will deliver predicable results for each patient. Established and trusted adhesive monomers are incorporated into Zipbond Universal, including MDP to achieve successful bond strengths in self etch, selective etch and total etch techniques. The easy to follow application enables bond strength to be reproduced with minimal fluctuation, each time Zipbond Universal is used. The adhesive overcomes the challenges associated with dentine bonding such as variability in mineral and water content to produce a reliable bond, every time. A uniform and consistent hybrid layer will form in all etching techniques. Even when dentine is overdried, a hybrid layer will form, mitigating technique sensitivity during the preparation of dentine. The quality of hybrid layer displayed by Zipbond Universal makes it possible for patients to leave the clinic without sensitivity. Zipbond Universal has 5% nanofillers to ensure controlled handling and the ability to apply in a homogenous thin layer. Film thickness is 8 microns to ensure your preferred indirect material is seated without obstruction. The interface between tooth and restorative material is well protected by the additional of fluoride, enhancing remineralisation to result in a longer lasting restoration. The adhesive is visible upon placement and virtually invisible on the tooth surface after it is cured, making it the ideal choice to use in aesthetic zones with bleach and translucent restorative materials. Patient experience has also been considered as Zipbond Universal presents with a pleasant aroma for maximum patient comfort. Zipbond Universal is an Australian innovation. For more information, contact SDI at www.sdi.com.au Aura Easyflow Perfect flow, perfect strength, optimal radiopacity Aura Easyflow, a light cured flowable composite, is the first flowable based on the technologies used in SDI’s successful Aura range of composites. It is optimised to provide the right features where you need them – it is highly radiopaque when used as a liner under direct restorations and easy to shade match when used in aesthetic zones. Like SDI’s Aura range of composites, Aura Easyflow is designed with a unique shading system that makes shade matching fast and easy. Designed to have ideal flow for cavity adaptation, Aura Easyflow will follow structural irregularities of prepared dentine. Its carefully selected filler load ensures the right flowability to completely seal the tooth/restorative interface. Radiopacity at 265%Al is higher than that of enamel and dentine, enabling the clear distinction of Aura Easyflow on radiographs. A nanohybrid filler system ensures Aura Easyflow has strong mechanical properties. Aura Easyflow will withstand the flexion that occurs during normal masticatory function, ensuring reduced stress along the bonding interface. Along with strength, optical properties are also optimised. Aura Easyflow has the perfect blend of translucency, opacity, opalescence and fluorescence to mimic that of a natural tooth. It contains the same chameleon effect of Aura, Aura Easy and Aura Bulk Fill. Four Aura Easyflow unique shades equate to eight VITA® A1-B4®shades. Aura Easyflow’s shades are extremely colour stabile and patients will have long lasting satisfaction when it is used in aesthetic zones. Regardless of what layer Aura Easyflow is used in, its properties are designed to maximise clinical success. Aura Easyflow is an Australian innovation. The composition of the mouth rinse has been further optimised to improve the product’s taste. The new delicate mint flavour has been well-received, even by very taste-sensitive individuals. Cervitec Liquid makes the oral hygiene routine a pleasant and refreshing experience. This has been confirmed in a recent survey conducted by Ivoclar Vivadent amongst around 150 test subjects. Cervitec Liquid is a ready-to-use alcohol- free mouth rinse for professional oral hygiene in the dental office and at home. The new formula contains xylitol, the provitamin D-panthenol and 0.1 % chlorhexidine. Cervitec Liquid made an excellent first impression on the participants of the survey on the basis of its scent. Ninety-seven per cent of the respondents said that they liked it very much. They also gave the taste and feel of the liquid in the mouth a positive review. Eighty-six per cent rated the mouth rinse as being very mild to mild. Nonetheless, 89% reported that their breath felt clean and fresh after rinsing. As a result, it is not surprising that around 90% of the respondents said that they would continue using Cervitec Liquid in the future and recommend the product to someone else. Rinsing with Cervitec Liquid is recommended for patients before and after implant, periodontal or orthodontic surgery in order to control bacteria in the oral cavity. It is also recommended for patients with a high caries risk, impaired oral hygiene or bad breath. Children over the age of six years may use Cervitec Liquid.
