Category Austràlàsiàn Dentist 125 Design layout àhe àlite design team worked closely with Dr àempf to create a design layout to meet the clinic’s needs that was in line with his vision of the practice. Design elements àimber veneer American oak was chosen for the reception panels, coupled with a white onyx reception counter and coffee table. àhe timber panels extend behind the reception desk to form a feature along the entire length of the waiting room ceiling. àtone white ceramic tiles were used in the entranceway through to the reception desk, offset by a natural shale-coloured carpet feature inlay in the waiting area. Colour àhe use of colour was an important aspect of the practice design. ànowy mountain white is featured on the walls and a darker stain was applied to the timber veneer American Oak to enhance the impact of the colour palette of the entire clinic. Blue accents were also applied throughout the practice to complement the timber finishes and bright white floors and walls. A cobalt blue fabric sofa in the waiting area provides warmth to the minimalist waiting area. Dental chairs in a calming colour combination of a blue and white feature in all the surgeries, perfectly balanced by dark blue splashbacks – which are also used in the steri and lab areas. Flooring àtone white ceramic tiling is used throughout the reception, hallways and staff room. àhe vinyl flooring chosen for the procedure, surgeries, steri and lab areas is in line with infection control regulations. àental fàtoutà & àonàtruà àon Dr Michael àempf was delighted with the result: “à adore the timber finishes and quality of the fitout in general.
