It allows a patient to be treated seated in their wheelchair or a chair, with no need to transfer. Narrowed head area improves oral access and makes easier moving of lumbar & “tilted” neck pillows to customise patient comfort, improve back & neck support and facilitate a “chin up” position. Safety strap secures the device to the chair for further stability. The backboard and pillows can be cleaned with same protocols used for dental chairs. A low-tech device, it can be used in-office as well as off-site by mobile dental services in aged / long term care facilities or other out of office environments such as home-care.
