The CORBIN™ Adapter The innovative CORBIN™ Adapter is a simple, low-cost device that allows the use of a ‘low volume saliva ejector tip’ with high volume evacuation (HVE). Higher rate of fluid removal using HVE assists in removing potentially contaminated aerosols from the mouth to reduce risks of contamination, and useful for those who have difficulty in swallowing. As HVE tips are generally awkward to manoeuvre and don’t bend, the new CORBIN™ Adapter allows you to use a more manoeuvrable, low volume tip that easily attaches to HVE. Low-cost, with no need for additional equipment, the CORBIN™ Adapter was designed by Judith Corbin, RDH who treated those with special needs and long before Covid, recognised the need for high volume evacuation with a more manageable tip. CORBIN™ Adapters (4 to a pack) can be autoclaved up to 10 times (following guidelines for infection control procedures) and replaced thereafter or when they look worn. ‘Mouth Prop Trifecta’ for Reliably Open Mouths Open Wide®Reusable Mouth Prop with “Wrap Around” Handle curves to the outside of the cheek, doesn’t block oral access & allows for simultaneous control of the prop & mandible; ‘through-the-hole’ receptor holds standard saliva ejector in place. Assures safe oral access with superior comfort & stability; highly crush resistant, over moulded base with a soft Latex®– free material doesn’t become ‘gummy’ when repeatedly autoclaved. Open Wide®Disposable Mouth Prop, designed for those who won’t cooperate or lack motor control, has a graduated wedge shape with padded handle and made from high-density foam with rigid core for stability & strength. Long handle makes for safe, easy control by clinicians and carers; considered a disposable item in the dental office, prop can be cleaned in hot water and used by parents & carers to facilitate oral hygiene. For those with aggressive bites, a ‘thicker’ version is available with 40% more foam for added strength. Molini®Mouth Opener designed for oral access in challenging situations when patients are uncooperative, bedridden or have poor muscle control. Tapered end acts as a wedge to help open mouth when teeth are clenched, and trim design allows for greater visibility of the oral environment. Handle has a bulbous end with secure grip surface to prevent slipping; can also be used for cheek / tongue retraction, as a standard bite block and for Myofunctional Assessment & Therapy. Made of hard plastic, can be sterilised up to 135 degrees C.
