Category 4 Australasian Dentist The Australian Dental Council signs MoU with the UAE’s Commission for Academic Accreditation Henry Schein One Australia Appoints New Business Development Specialist for VIC, SA and TAS I n February the Australian Dental Council (ADC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Commission for Academic Accreditation (CAA), the National Accreditation Agency affiliated with the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Education. Under the MoU the CAA has awarded the ADC international accreditation authority status in registered higher education institutions in the United Arab Emirates. As part of this agreement, dental practitioner programs based in the United Arab Emirates can apply to be accredited by the ADC and the CAA simultaneously. The MoU also allows for greater infor- mation sharing and collaboration between the two organisations on projects and activities regarding international program H enry Schein One Australia has announced the recent appointment of Steven Komninos, who has joined the team as a Business Development Specialist for VIC, SA and TAS. His experience includes working in the IT and Software industry, training as Computer Service Engineer and 12 years in providing CAD and data management solutions.
