Australasian Dentist Magazine May June 2021
Category Australasian Dentist 129 2020 had its challenges for everyone and it was no different for Australasian Clear Aligner Society (ACAS). Coming to the decision to change the date for our annual clear aligner symposium was not taken lightly, but a result of many months of long discussion. ACAS2021 was to be held on 19-20 February, 2021. This has been moved to August 19-21. The location remains at Crown, Melbourne, Australia. Although planning a major event in Melbourne this year has been difficult, we have remained focused on providing the best and most up to date clear aligner industry updates for our members. Not only did we successfully hold our first virtual event in February, we have been working hard behind the scenes to update our members’ portal to provide ACAS members with as many benefits as possible! With our new website and members portal launched earlier this month, we are very excited to showcase our updated members benefits, including: The ACAS2021 Virtual Symposium: Our February event included a distinguished line up of guest speakers including Dr Rhonda Coyne, Prof. James Mah, Dr Steve Seeman, Prof. Ali Darendeliler, Dr Tony Weir, Dr Morris Rapaport and Dr Cory Costanzo.
