With the exposure times being as short as this, the risk of errors occurring during the light-curing step is additionally lowered. Three-second exposure times can be applied if Bluephase PowerCure is used in combination with the products of the 3s PowerCure product system. A well-designed product system The innovative 3s PowerCure product system comprises, alongside the new Bluephase PowerCure, the sculptable Tetric PowerFill composite, the flowable Tetric PowerFlow and the Adhese Universal dental adhesive. Both restorative composites can be applied in increments of up to 4 mm and significantly reduce the number of working steps required to complete a restoration, enabling dental professionals to increase their everyday efficiency even further. If the curing light is being shifted too far away from the original position, the Bluephase PowerCure will automatically interrupt the exposure cycle so that it can be repeated correctly. The new Bluephase PowerCure features three different curing programs that can be freely selected to match the needs of a variety of situations: In addition to the 1,200 mW/cm2 high power mode, it offers a turbo mode and a 3s mode. In the turbo mode, the light produces a light intensity of 2,000 mW/cm2 and this mode is therefore especially suited for polymerizing luting materials in indirect restorations.
