CATEGORY 24 AUSTRALASIAN DENTIST EVENTS We believe there is much to celebrate in dentistry and with this in mind Australasian Dentist has launched the inaugural Melbourne awards, culminating in the gala awards ceremony in late 2025. These awards are overdue, the dental profession is marginalised in the public eye and dentists are largely reluctant to announce their own high achievements. Yet the skills, expertise, capabilities, professionalism and knowhow of Australian dentistry is of a world standard. Dentists have until August 18th 2025 to nominate yourself, dentists can be nominated by an associate dentist and you can nominate members of staff in the list of categories. Practitioners may register for multiple categories. These awards will incorporate regional Victoria and Tasmania. The Australian Dentistry Awards – Melbourne 2025 – recognising outstanding dentistry HOW TO REGISTER & SUBMIT YOUR ENTRY 1. Go to www.australasiandentist.com.au and click on ‘Register Now’ or apply via email to ausdentalawards@gmail.com 2. Add your details and select your categories. 3. The only cost to apply for any category is to book and attend the Australian Dentistry Awards Gala ceremony in December 2025 by purchasing a table of six, eight or 10. 4. Booking one table of 10 allows the practice to apply for as many categories you consider your practice eligible for. 5. Complete the online form and upload your entry. 6. Write between 750 and 1,000 words and supply relevant images of your practice that demonstrate your suitability as a contender for the awards you nominate. 7. Entries can be self-nominated or nominated by a team member. 8.
