Staying ahead of the curve with cuttingedge technology is vital for providing the best possible care and outcomes to patients. One area that has lagged behind is surgery, despite many innovations. Many practitioners continue to use techniques and tools that have been utilised for decades (if not longer). Many of these tools still work well, however, improvement in surgical protocols and tools available to the clinician are always welcome.
