My father was a dentist who later moved into product distribution when he arrived in Australia, and Ark Health was established in 2006. As with most family businesses, it was part of my everyday life growing up. My early years were spent picking and packing orders in our garage and later in the warehouse. I loved it. It gave me a front‑row seat to the evolving needs of Australian dentists and taught me how important accuracy, care and on‑time delivery really are. My box‑packing Tetris skills remain unmatched. I’ve also always been drawn to technology – not just how it shapes clinical dentistry, but how it can streamline the way products reach clinicians. We’ve recently upgraded our website, warehouse software and inventory systems to keep improving speed and reliability. Growing up in the business also meant experiencing every part of it: warehouse operations, sales, marketing, business development and product sourcing. That breadth has helped me understand the pain points and where innovation can genuinely make a difference. I sometimes joke that I’m like Michael Corleone from The Godfather – dentistry is an industry you never really leave. But honestly, I wouldn’t want to.
