TIM’S TOASTIES Adored by his community, Tim Bone is a Ballarat- based chef who rose to fame in 2019 during his stint on MasterChef Australia. As a series semi-finalist, he allured fans with his flair for food and his personable, humorous and down-to-earth personality. Shortly after MasterChef - with a newfound confidence and a pep in his step – Tim quit his day job and launched his gourmet toasted sandwich venture – Tim’s Toasties! Since then his highly- coveted business has attracted droves of foodies in search of an enticing culinary experience. Winner of The Runway HQ Newcomer Business Award in the 2022 Federation University Commerce Ballarat Business Excellence Awards, Tim’s Toasties are brimming with local produce ranging from garlic and herb fried mushrooms to slow-roasted lamb shoulder, Meredith Dairy Goats Cheese to Salt Kitchen Charcuterie. Every toastie is as much a celebration of the region as it is a celebration in the mouth.
